School!!

Hey everyone!!!
I hope you are having a great and wonderful day I am so excited now that all taxes are filed I can finally fill out my financial aid information and get the ball rolling on school even more now.

So my list of things to do is growing but I'm also crossing stuff off which I love!!
So school is on the top of my list I have only a few things to do before I start

  1. Fill out financial aid
  2. take placement tests (which freak me out!!)
  3. Figure out budget
  4. set up 2nd appt. with advisor, sign up for classes
  5. Get all required items (books, pencils, pens, calculators, etc.)

So my list has been gradually getting smaller and smaller and I cannot express how excited I am!! I am going for my bachelors degree in elementary education, so I'm in for a long, couple of years but I am pumped and ready! My dream goal is to teach 1st grade but anything 4th grade and below works for me!

What are your school goals? Do you have a list to cross thing off? Don't forget about what makes you happy and don't stop striving for your goals, they way you get there and the memories you have on the way make it all the more special!

This is from my Graduation party when I graduated high school years ago. :D

  1. Wow Ally! I never knew you wanted to be a teacher. :) Funny how some things just don't come up. I remember those days at ASU getting my bachelor's in Education. I felt like the world was at my finger tips and that I could change so many kiddos lives. I am on my 5th year of teaching now...WOW I feel old. :) It has been an amazing experience. I will share with you though that my new goal is to be with my son all the time. I have lost a little of my passion for teaching and have been directing all my energy to Grant-you will see how that feels soon. I wish you the best and if there is anything I can do to help or any advice/suggestions you need I am here for you. I can always at least be a fellow teacher with a recommendation letter when the time comes. Good luck coming into the field where you work way too hard and don't get enough of the credit you deserve. I believe you will do amazing things!
